Over four seasons, the show focuses on an Alexandra-based shearing business run by ex champion shearer Peter Lyon and his wife Elsie. Each episode explores a new contract, as Lyon's teams deal with wild weather, tight deadlines, physical wear and tear — and the clashes that come with working and living side by side in stunning South Island landscapes.
